BSc (Hons) Business and Tourism Management

Generating 1062 billion/year and employing over 2 million people, the UK’s tourism is an incredibly driven industry. 

This undergraduate course will provide you with the proper knowledge to approach the tourism industry. You will learn the key challenges the Tourism industry faces nowadays, such as sustainability, ethical tourism, and management crisis. You’ll graduate with a thorough understanding of the tourist business, the capacity to adapt to changing trends, and a network of connections that will help you advance in your profession.

Teaching and structure:
Courses are divided into modules. Each year you will normally take modules totalling 120 credits. This is a three / four-year degree course in which you will take a combination of required and optional modules to total 360 credits.

  • Heritage Cultural and Gastronomy Tourism

Year 3

  • Strategic Management
  • Sustainability and Responsible Business
  • Sustainable Tourism Management
  • Undergraduate Major Project

Entry requirements:

  • No traditional qualifications needed. 
  • Your work history can be used instead of traditional qualifications.

At the end of your course, you will earn a bachelor’s in this course, which will open a window to a wide variety of jobs in this sector, and many others. With a bachelor’s degree, your chance of employment increases drastically, and so does your yearly earnings compared to those who do not hold higher qualifications.
